The dam in the eastern state of Andhra Pradesh will provide water and electric power supply for the region.
The specialist foundation work includes the creation of 68,000m2 of cut-off wall with a length of 1.5km down to a depth of 110m. Two duty-cycle cranes, an MC 96 with a grab and an MC 128 with a BC 40 trench cutter, will be used by Bauer.
Work on the project is to begin in November with the mobilisation of the construction site and should be finished by the end of 2017.
