Bosch says that its battery-powered GKM 18 V LI Professional is ideal for metal workers, steel erectors, installers and roofers, cutting metal with speed, precision and virtually no sparks, it claims.
It has a "Standard for Steel" saw blade specifically developed for machining steel. It uses a cut that is non-abrasive, unlike rip saws and angle grinders and as a result the cut is more precise, Bosch says.
The new saw weighs in at 2.7kg and is powered by an 18 volt lithium-ion battery with 4.0 Ah. One battery charge can make more than 300 cuts in 20mm steel pipes.
