Bouygues to build Japanese solar farm

4 Jun 17 Independent power generator Equis Energy has appointed Bouygues Energies & Services and Toho Electrical to build a 13.7MW solar scheme in Noheji in northern Japan.

Bouygues and Toho are providing engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for the project, which is expected to start operating in November 2017. The scheme will generate approximately 14,800MWh per year, providing electricity to 2,800 households while saving 8,155 tons of CO2 as well as 13.9 million litres of water.

Equis had already worked with Bouygues Energies & Services on four other photovoltaic facilities in Thailand and the Philippines.
