But it does need to change. There will be increased competition, greater integration of the supply chain and with the UK’s ageing demographic, a shortage of future professionals. Becoming a chartered organisation will help us take even more of a leading role in the industry response to these challenges and to prepare the industry – by offering education and training – to optimise future opportunities.”
