Hailing the team “worthy recipients” of a second successive Gold award, the judges said: “Vehicular access to site at a restricted location was admirably managed by their experienced banksman, ensuring minimum disruption and maximum safety to the public.”
The judges also noted that the site had been commended by the City of London Access Group for the consideration shown to pedestrians with disabilities.
The Considerate Contractor Scheme recognises teams which carry out their operations in a safe and considerate manner and demonstrate awareness of the needs of the passing public.
