The four-year contract will be awarded to a single contractor.
The housing associations are acting together as the Eastern Procurement Consortium (EPC), which comprises 11 members: Freebridge Community Housing Limited, Victory Housing Trust, Saffron Housing Trust Limited, Cotman Housing Association Limited, Wherry Housing Association Limited, Suffolk Housing Association Limited, Orwell Housing Association Limited, Colne Housing Society Limited, Flagship Housing Group, Norwich City Council, and Hundred Houses Society.
The successful contractor will be required to carry out any of the following works: supply and installation of kitchens, bathrooms or void improvements, electrical testing and essential remedial works, fencing works, re-roofing and roof repairs, disabled adaptations, external and internal decoration, insulation work, external render works, concrete repairs, general external repairs and photo-voltaic systems to tenanted social housing properties.
The deadline for expressons of interest is 22 November 2011.
