Great Ormond Street Hospital has awarded Mansell a £17m enabling works and re-development plan for the hospital, plus a three-year programme of small works comprising multiple refurbishment projects.

At Hereford County Hospital, Mansell will build a new £2.5m radiotherapy satellite unit for Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

In Plymouth, Derriford Hospital’s Royal Eye Infirmary Out-Patients Department and Urgent Care will be reconfigured and refurbished as part of a £1.6m contract.

Mansell renewed its ProCure21 contracts with Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust and Great Ormond Street Hospital. Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a new framework partner.

Work on each scheme will start on site this year, with completion of all projects expected by March 2014.
