Under London Stock Exchange FTSE sector classifications, Galliford Try is being reclassified into the Home Construction subsector.
The switch reflects growth in the company’s house-building division, which includes Linden Homes and Galliford Try Partnerships, which now accounts for £1bn of group £1.8bn turnover.
Galliford Try's first day of trading in the Home Construction subsector will be Monday 22nd December 2014.
