Gleeds strengthens health team

3 May 17 Construction consultant Gleeds has appointed Neil McMullen as a director in it health team.

Neil McMullen joins Gleeds from Currie & Brown where he was as regional director.

At Gleeds he will seek to provide advice to the National Health Service on best practice and cost control for its construction work.

Neil McMullen is on the Department of Health’s ProCure 22 (previously P21+) financial and commercial working group, representing the interests of NHS trusts. He has also provided the Department of Health’s P21+ and NEC contract training programme and has been a consultee for NHS guidance and publications, such as the Healthcare Premises Cost Guides.

His new position will involve leading Gleeds’ healthcare partnering frameworks and developing the health professional team.  He is based at the company’s Southampton office.

Gleeds is currently working with Airedale NHS Foundation Trust on its P21+ Acute Assessment Unit, Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust on a number of P21+ projects and advising a number of trusts on their ProCure22 projects.
