HLG wins Qatar tower project
Middle East‐based contractor HLG has won a QR580m (£128m) contract for the construction of Al Mutahidah Towers in Qatar.

Al Mutahidah Towers is located in the beach front precinct of Viva Bahriya at the Pearl‐Qatar, UDC’s flagship project and one of the largest urban developments in the country.
HLG - which is 45% owned by Hochtief subsidiary Cimic - will construct twin 25-storey residential towers for United Development Company (UDC). The project involves the construction of 480 apartments, two parking levels, a ground floor entrance lobby and amenities areas with a gross floor area of 160,500m2 .
The scope of the contract includes the structural work, architectural finishes, landscaping and mechanical, electrical and plumbing works.
Construction will start in February 2017 and is scheduled for completion in third quarter of 2019.
