The building is directly above Cannon Street station. ISG has recently completed a 175,000 sq ft Cat A fit out across four levels of the eight-storey building for developer Hines. ISG has now added a further 140,000 sq ft fast-track Cat B fit out over the first three floors of the building for law firm CMS.

ISG said that the large column-free floor plate at Cannon Place had enabled CMS to develop a new design ethos for its new London headquarters. Mostly open plan, studio-styled work areas replace a traditional cellular office environment. ISG will install two new staircases to link the two floor levels.

Matt Blowers, managing director of ISG’s UK Fit Out business, said: “Securing repeat opportunities with major commercial organisations represents a key vote of confidence in our ability to consistently deliver outstanding office solutions within challenging timeframes. In this instance, our customer’s lease break provides an immoveable deadline and our integral focus on delivering exceptional standards will once again prove central to the success of this project.”
