It is in an alliance with John Holland, Metro Trains Melbourne and Public Transport Victoria on the VicRoads project. KBR’s design services include preliminary design, detailed engineering design and technical advice during construction.
The project is designed to provide long-term improvements to public transport and the road network at two of Victoria’s busiest rail crossings. Work involves grade separation of two roads from the railway, replacement of 1.8km of rail track and construction of a new station. KBR’s alliance partner, John Holland, will be responsible for construction.
