Martin will head up the company’s safety, health, environmental and quality programmes in the UK. He will also be responsible for providing strategic support to Morgan Sindall’s SHEQ teams working across the country.
His appointment follows the formation of the new Morgan Sindall brand in June, which brings together parent company Morgan Sindall Group’s design, construction and infrastructure divisions under one roof.
Martin is a member of the Morgan Sindall executive management team and previously held the position of SHEQ director for parent company Morgan Sindall Group’s construction division, which operated under Morgan Ashurst until June this year. Prior to this he worked within the SHEQ business unit at AMEC Group.
Martin is chairman of the UK Leadership and Worker Engagement Forum and specialises in behavioural safety, integrated systems and process approach.
