The company was part of the team which won the sustainability award at the Bovis Lend Lease Defence Awards for its involvement with a new office development for the MOD at Abbey Wood in Bristol.
The three-storey office development, named Oak Building, complete with fitness suite and restaurant has achieved an 85 per cent DREAM rating – the highest mark ever awarded for a defence construction project and equivalent to BREEAM Outstanding.
Working for Debut Services, a joint venture between Bovis Lend Lease and Babcock International Group, through the MOD’s Regional Prime Contract in the South West, the team, including Morgan Sindall, Debut Services and architects Stride Treglown, collected the award at a ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.
