Mansell’s appointment follows its construction of a munitions store at the air base back in 2006.
Work for the simulator building involves the demolition of existing building infrastructure and utilities and service diversion. The new building will be steel frames and is designed to meet BREEAM excellent rating.
Client for the project is the RAF’s training provider New Thales.
Mansell recently finished a building for a helicopter flight simulator for the Royal Navy at Yeovilton.
