Seddon adds £28m to autumn workload

25 Nov 13 Lancashire-based contractor Seddon reports that it has booked £28m-worth of new housing work for this autumn.

Most of the work is in the northwest region, including two schemes, together worth £3.1m, to build 32 new houses in Bolton for Bolton at Home.

It has also picked up a £2.2m design-and-build development of 28 homes in Whelley, Wigan, for Wigan & Leigh Housing.

In West Kirby it is building a 48-home development for Magenta Living under a £3.1m contract.

And Seddon has environmental work worth £1.2m in Liverpool for Liverpool Mutual Homes.

In addition, the company has been selected to work on Circle Housing Group’s major housebuilding and regeneration framework in Birmingham and the West Midlands.

Managing director Jonathan Seddon said: “The company’s ability to offer clients the full range of construction and development services and commitment to developing successful long-term working relationships with our customers has left us in a strong position as the market continues to recover.”
