The doors and panels were manufactured and installed by Sunray to comply with Scottish & Southern Electricity regulations.
The ultra modern office development features Sunray door-sets to the frontage of the building. Door –sets were required for the Scottish & Southern Electricity room, gas meter room, boiler room and other louvred escape doors.
Sunray met Kier design requirements by manufacturing bespoke louvre panels with a special sill detail to bridge the area between the door louvre and the stone cladding on either side.
Jeff Bettam, Section Manager for Kier Regional commented: “Sunray brought forward our requirements with diligence and professionalism; from design interpretation through to the on-site installation of our louvres”.
The louvre doors and panels blended in seamlessly with the modern architecture of One Reading Central as well as providing a secure functional solution.
