Terex introduces nine-tonne swivel dumpers

8 Apr 16 Terex Construction has added two new swivel tip models to its family of heavy-duty site dumpers.

The new TA9S and TA9SP both have a nine-tonne payload and swivel skip functionality, and are Stage IIIB compliant. Sales start in June 2016.

With Synchro Shuttle transmission, the TA9S is designed to be suitable for tight construction sites. Sales features include its tipping and slewing cycle times and swivel configuration.

The TA9SP has Powershift transmission for easier gear changing. Optional Autoshift technology is designed to change gears at optimised points, to make it easier to drive and save fuel.

Terex product manager Mark Royse said: “Meeting the latest standard in forward visibility and featuring a number of new technology additions, we’re confident that our TA9S and TA9SP will be a welcome addition to the Terex range. Launching these two new models is significant, as it offers increased flexibility to meet our customers’ needs.”
