Main contractor Bowmer & Kirkland starts construction of the St Vincent Plaza scheme on 5 June 2013 for developer Abstract Securities.
The 11-storey building will provide 170,000 sq ft of BREEAM-excellent rated office space within Glasgow’s central business district on St Vincent Street.
Completion is set for spring 2015.
Turner & Townsend Glasgow director Andy Outram said: “As one of the first truly speculative office developments for a number of years, St Vincent Plaza represents a fantastic opportunity for Glasgow’s regeneration, not to mention a return to health for the city’s commercial construction industry which has struggled in the current climate."
