Job Title: Driver / Labourer
Location: Blackburn/Halifax
Contract Type: Temporary
Salary: £13.69phr (PAYE) or £16.14phr (UMB)
About the Role: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Driver/Labourer to join our team on a busy social housing maintenance contract. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for driving company vehicles, transporting materials, and assisting tradespeople with day-to-day tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely driving company vehicles to and from sites
Loading, unloading, and transporting tools, equipment, and materials
Assisting trades operatives with general labouring duties
Ensuring all work areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe
Adhering to health & safety policies and procedures at all times
Providing excellent customer service when interacting with tenants and the public
Requirements:
Full UK Driving Licence (clean) - essential
Previous labouring or construction/maintenance experience - desirable
Good communication and teamwork skills
A reliable and proactive approach to work
Willingness to undertake training as required
