Health & Safety Business Development Lead

This is an exciting opportunity to join a start-up Health & Safety and CDM consultancy with established Tier 1 client relationships across construction, healthcare, energy and infrastructure. They are now hiring their first dedicated Business Development Lead to build a proactive commercial engine around the business.

This is a commercial position rather than a support function. The successful Business Development Lead will own the entire commercial process from identifying prospects to invoicing the client. In this role you would have complete autonomy over how you run your side of the business, so the role requires a self-starter who is confident in their ability to generate fee earning work.

Experience in Health & Safety is important as you would need to be commercially credible, knowledge of CDM and Building Safety, having some form of safety qualification such as a NEBOSH is desirable too. However, this role is mainly focussed around work winning, some a demonstratable track record of managing and closing opportunities is vital.

This is a start-up business, salary is negotiable but sits around the £50,000 mark. On top of this you will also receive 25 days holiday and private medical.
