Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum + Van & Fuel Card
A Multi Trader is required for a leading social housing contractor covering South West London. This role will involve carrying out responsive maintenance and repair works on occupied residential properties.
The ideal candidate will have a strong plumbing background as their primary trade, whilst also being competent in a range of multi-trade disciplines including carpentry, tiling, patch plastering and general repairs. Previous experience working within social housing or domestic maintenance is essential.
Daily Responsibilities of a Multi Trader:
- Carrying out maintenance and repair works on occupied properties
- Completing plumbing/carpentry repairs and installations
- Undertaking basic carpentry, tiling and patch plastering works
- Delivering excellent customer service to tenants and residents
- Using a PDA system to manage and complete jobs efficiently
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
Requirements of a Multi Trader:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Proven experience within social housing or domestic maintenance
- Strong plumbing experience with additional multi-trade skills
- Experience using PDA systems
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
- Excellent customer-facing skills
