£35,000 - £40,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

A growing civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of projects across the South East. Working alongside experienced commercial professionals, you will gain exposure to a wide variety of civils and infrastructure schemes valued up to £4m.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Assistant QS with at least 2 years' experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and expanding business.

The Role

• Assisting with applications for payment
• Managing variation and compensation event notices and quotations
• Cost tracking and reporting
• Supporting forecasting and CVR preparation
• Producing take-offs and measurements using Bluebeam
• Assisting with material procurement
• Attending site visits and client meetings
• Maintaining project records and documentation
• Working across multiple infrastructure and civil engineering projects

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' Quantity Surveying experience
• Experience working for a contractor or subcontractor
• Understanding of core QS processes and commercial procedures
• Proficient with Bluebeam for take-offs and measurement
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites
• CSCS Card
• Positive attitude with a desire to learn and develop

• £35,000 - £40,000 package
