Job Specification: Groundwork and RC Frame Estimator

Role Overview:

As a Groundwork and RC Frame Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the construction industry by accurately assessing costs and preparing estimates for projects related to groundwork and reinforced concrete (RC) frames. Your responsibilities will include handling cost calculations, reviewing plans, liaising with clients and suppliers, and ensuring competitive tenders.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Calculations: Handle cost calculations for projects, considering labor, materials, and other expenses.

Estimate Preparation: Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for clients based on project requirements.

Plan Review: Review architectural plans and engineering drawings to understand project scope and requirements.

Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers to obtain pricing information for materials and services.

Tender Submissions: Assist in compiling and submitting competitive tenders.

Budget Management: Track construction expenses and ensure projects stay within budget.

Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in estimating for groundwork and RC frame projects.
• Education: Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering is preferred.
• Skills:
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tenders.
  • Working knowledge of various forms of contracts.
