SHDF Project Administrator Dartford Full Time | Permanent | £30,000 per annum About the Role We are supporting the delivery of a Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) retrofit programme and are looking for an organised and detail-focused SHDF Project Administrator to join the project team based in Dartford.

The role will provide administrative and project support across domestic retrofit works, helping to maintain accurate property, assessment and project information and ensuring documentation is kept up to date throughout the delivery programme.

This role would suit someone with DEA, retrofit, energy efficiency, property or construction administration experience who is looking to develop their career within the domestic retrofit sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the SHDF retrofit project team.
  • Maintain accurate project, property and resident records.
  • Support the management and organisation of retrofit project documentation.
  • Maintain databases, spreadsheets and project tracking systems.
  • Assist with the administration of domestic energy assessments and retrofit documentation.
  • Check project information and identify missing or incomplete documentation.
  • Support the project team with reporting, data collection and information gathering.
  • Track project progress, actions, deadlines and outstanding information.
  • Liaise with internal teams, contractors and other project stakeholders.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate records throughout the lifecycle of retrofit works.
  • Support the administration and coordination of project activities.
  • Ensure information is accurately recorded and readily available to the project team.
  • Carry out general project administration to support the successful delivery of the programme.

  • Experience within retrofit, energy efficiency, housing or property would be beneficial.
  • DEA or closely related experience would be advantageous.
  • Strong administration, organisation and attention to detail are essential.
Essential Requirements
  • Previous experience in administration, project support, document control or a similar coordination role.
  • Experience within retrofit, energy efficiency, housing, property or a related environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively with contractors, colleagues and other stakeholders.
Desirable Experience
  • Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) experience or qualification.
  • Experience supporting domestic retrofit projects.
  • Knowledge of EPCs, retrofit assessments or energy efficiency measures.
  • Experience working with SHDF or similar housing decarbonisation programmes.
  • Knowledge of PAS 2035/PAS 2030 and the domestic retrofit process.
  • Previous experience within social housing or property services.
  • Experience maintaining technical or compliance documentation.
