Location: Newcastle, NE29 6SQ
Pay: £19.00 - £21.00 per hour (dependant on experience)
Duration: 5 Weeks
Start Date: Monday 21st September
Job Type: Full-Time | Contract
Qualification: Blue CPCS or NPORS with CSCS Logo

Requirements

Previous experience operating a Telehandler on construction or infrastructure projects.

Blue CPCS Telehandler card OR NPORS with CSCS logo - essential.

Good understanding of safe plant operation.

Experience working around busy construction sites.

Strong awareness of site health and safety.

Reliable, punctual and hardworking.

Ability to work effectively as part of a wider site team.

Full PPE.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a telehandler in accordance with site procedures.

Move, load and position materials around site.

Load and unload deliveries as required.

Assist trades and site teams with material movements.

Carry out daily machine checks and report any defects.

Ensure loads are safely secured and handled.

Follow site lifting procedures and instructions.

Work safely around pedestrians, vehicles and other plant.

Maintain good communication with banksmen and the wider site team.

Keep the working area clean and organised.

Follow RAMS, site rules and health and safety requirements.

Carry out other general plant duties as required.
