Town Planning Coordinator

Working for a Consultancy that works across the Southern region, supporting developers in town planning applications.

Location:- Worthing

Salary:- £40,000 basic

Hybrid working, 3 days a week in the office and 2 days a week from home.

Role:

The Resolute Group are working in partnership with a National consultancy who's Project team needs support in delivering Planning applications. Working with various stakeholders both internally and externally coordinating the planning application process, and documentation to ensure the correct governance is taking place.

Managing a team of administrators, this position is a mixture of people management and stakeholder engagement. Updating the client with any issues regarding delays in the documentation process, following up with stakeholders to ensure the planning application is managed when delays happen and keeping a report of the ongoing projects.

There are various stages in the application process, and each step needs to be completed and documented correctly to ensure the process is followed correctly. Understanding the process, the stakeholders involved and building strong relationships will be key. Clear communication, providing excellent customer service to the stakeholders and being proactive in resolving potential delays or issues.

The key element for this position is understanding Town planning and or the Planning application process, then looking to lead a team of administrators that each coordinate several planning applications at any one time.

The role is based in Worthing, West Sussex, 3 days a week with 2 days a week from home so you need to be living in the local region.
