Nuclear Site Support Operative Location: OX11, Oxford Pay: £16.31 per hour (PAYE) Hours: 37 hours per week Contract: 24 Months

MSSI UK are currently recruiting Nuclear Site Support Operatives for a long-term opportunity at a major nuclear site in Oxfordshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regulated environment, supporting decommissioning, waste management and operational activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities Carry out decommissioning, waste management and decontamination activities within a radioactive environment. Perform waste segregation, size reduction, processing and packaging operations. Operate powered equipment to support decommissioning and waste activities. Maintain accurate waste records and documentation. Wear and work safely in a variety of specialist PPE and protective clothing. Provide cover for the Chargehand role when required. Follow all site procedures, nuclear safety standards and Site Licence requirements. Support company policies, procedures and compliance, including Equality, Diversity and Health & Safety. Essential Requirements Active Security Clearance (essential). Proven experience within Construction, Property & Facilities or Facilities/Estates Management. Experience working in an industrial environment. Good understanding of health and safety procedures. Ability to work safely and effectively within a highly regulated environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Desirable Knowledge of radiological protection and nuclear safety standards. Previous experience within the nuclear industry. Experience with waste management or decommissioning activities. What's on Offer PAYE 37-hour working week. 24-month contract. Long-term opportunity on a major UK nuclear site.
