What will you be doing?
You'll have the opportunity to get involved across a broad range of Building Surveying services, including:
- Undertaking and leading condition and measured surveys, defect diagnosis and TDD
- Preparing detailed reports, specifications, schedules of work and technical documentation
- Managing project management and contract administration assignments
- Delivering refurbishment, maintenance and capital projects from inception through to completion
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully
- Building strong, long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues where appropriate
- Ensuring projects meet the required quality, health & safety and environmental standards
What are they looking for?
We're keen to hear from Building Surveyors who have:
- A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline, ideally RICS-accredited
- Experience working within a consultancy or similar professional environment
- Strong knowledge of building pathology, construction and statutory compliance
- Experience across project management and contract administration
- Good knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts
- Progress towards, or recently achieved, MRICS status
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage your own workload
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit or similar software would be advantageous
