Senior Rail Construction Engineer Location:Newcastle Permanent Opportunity

Are you an experienced Senior Rail Engineer looking for your next opportunity?

Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Rail Engineer to support and lead rail renewal projects across the Newcastle area, focusing on S&C and Plain Line renewals.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Rail Renewals (S&C & Plain Line)
• Strong knowledge of tamping, stressing and track geometry
• Experience using 3D Dozer systems
• Competent with Total Station setting out
• Ability to lead and mentor site engineering teams
• Strong understanding of health & safety, quality and site documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee S&C and Plain Line renewal works
• Ensure works are delivered in line with design specifications
• Manage engineering records and site documentation
• Support and develop junior engineers
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and complianceLiaise with project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
