Asset Engineer (E&P) - Fixed Plant & Traction Power Location: Stratford, London - Hybrid WorkingContract: 8 months, with potential extensionRate: £380-£450per day, depending on experience. 37 Hours per weekPTS RequiredBPSS Clearance Required Must be local, digs not provided We are currently looking for an experienced Asset Engineer (E&P) to support a major long-term rail infrastructure programme, focusing on fixed plant and traction power assets. This is a great opportunity for an engineer with experience in E&P, asset management, fixed plant, traction power or OLE/contact systems. The Role You will be responsible for: Supporting E&P asset strategies and investment plans Developing renewal, refurbishment and enhancement programmes Assessing asset condition and identifying future investment needs Developing technical requirements and specifications Supporting project teams to ensure engineering requirements are delivered Managing asset risks and advising on the impact of delayed works Working with engineering and maintenance teams and key stakeholders Producing technical reports and presenting recommendations Maintaining accurate asset records and engineering documentation About You We're looking for someone with: Experience in engineering, maintenance or asset management Knowledge of fixed plant assets and asset lifecycle management Experience with asset strategies, investment planning or renewal programmes Knowledge of E&P assets, traction power, OLE/contact systems or fixed plant Understanding of 25kV OLE, traction power, signalling power or plant and distribution systems Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to analyse asset information and make practical engineering recommendations Valid PTS IEng or relevant professional membership is desirable but not essential.
