Electrical Commissioning Engineer - Data Centres (Gavle, Sweden)

We are currently seeking an Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join an expanding delivery team on large-scale turnkey data centre projects across Europe. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile, technically complex facilities within a fast-growing sector.

The Role

You will be responsible for supervising and managing all electrical commissioning activities on site, ensuring vendors deliver their scope safely, on time, and in compliance with approved documentation and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise commissioning activities for all electrical vendors
• Ensure compliance with scope, quality standards, and commissioning programmes
• Monitor progress and report against commissioning milestones
• Attend and support Electrical Vendor FATs and FWTs as required
• Coordinate daily and weekly commissioning meetings (internal & vendor-facing)
• Prepare and issue weekly commissioning progress reports
• Coordinate closely with QA/QC and Authorised Person (AP) teams
• Review, track, and gain approval for commissioning documentation (test scripts, compliance statements, etc.)
• Witness vendor commissioning activities against approved documentation
• Manage commissioning tagging procedures and site operations
• Oversee day-to-day on-site electrical commissioning activities

• LV/MV switchgear
• Generators
• BMS and electrical controls
• Electrical testing and verification
