Job Description
We are seeking skilled OLEC 3 Linesmen to join our team, working on crucial Network Rail infrastructure projects. As an OLEC 3 Linesman, you will play a key role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of Overhead Line Equipment (OLE) to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the rail network.
We are looking for staff specifically for Christmas Shifts, these will include the bonus shifts. We will also need staff on a weekend and midweek basis from January onwards. The work will be in the West London area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair overhead line equipment in accordance with Network Rail standards and procedures.
- Conduct site inspections, ensuring all work meets safety and operational regulations.
- Perform fault-finding, diagnosis, and timely repairs to minimise disruptions to rail services.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to run planned and reactive maintenance work.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including conducting risk assessments and using appropriate PPE.
- Participate in emergency response teams for urgent repairs as required.
Requirements:
- Valid OLEC 3 certification.
- PTS
- Proven experience working on rail infrastructure projects, specifically with overhead line equipment.
- Comprehensive understanding of Network Rail standards and safety regulations.
- Ability to work at heights and in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
