An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Facade Engineer to join a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy in Colchester. The role involves leading façade engineering projects across all RIBA stages, working on a range of building sectors while collaborating with architects and multidisciplinary design teams. This position suits an experienced façade engineer seeking technical ownership, hybrid working and long-term career development.

Role & Responsibilities

Deliver façade engineering across all RIBA work stages

Develop compliant façade solutions with design teams

Complete performance analysis and technical reviews

Attend client meetings and design workshops

Support procurement and construction stage services

Assist with proposals and business development

Use modelling software to assess façade performance

Maintain knowledge of UK regulations and standards

Skills & Experience Required

Proven façade engineering project delivery

Strong knowledge of UK façade regulations

Experience working with multidisciplinary teams

Excellent communication and client-facing skills

Professional membership or chartership progression

Knowledge of EWS1 and cladding compliance beneficial

Commercial awareness supporting bids is desirable

Salary & Benefits

£50,000 - £70,000 DOE
