Civils Technician
Location: Southwark, London
Salary: Up to £45k
Full-Time | Hybrid Working (2 days in the office per week)
I'm working with an established civil engineering and transport planning consultancy in London who are looking to add a Civils Technician to their growing team.
The consultancy has a strong residential focus, working on a range of infrastructure projects across London and the wider UK. This is a good opportunity for a Civils Technician looking to develop their technical skills and gain further experience within a supportive consultancy environment.
The Role
As a Civils Technician, you'll work alongside experienced engineers and technicians, supporting the delivery of residential infrastructure projects from concept through to detailed design.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing detailed technical drawings and documentation for residential developments
- Using Site 3D to support civil engineering design
- Working on highways, drainage and SuDS schemes
- Preparing drawings and information for adoption and maintenance submissions
- Working closely with engineers and project teams to develop practical design solutions
- Supporting the delivery of projects to a high technical standard
What They're Looking For
- Previous experience working as a Civils Technician or similar role
- Experience within residential infrastructure / development projects
- Good knowledge of Site 3D
- Experience producing technical drawings and design documentation
- Understanding of highways, drainage and SuDS
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to develop technically
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
