Are you a senior Project Management professional seeking greater visibility and the chance to lead a growing team? We are representing a progressive, forward-thinking consultancy looking for an Associate Partner to join their vibrant Manchester office.
This is a high-level leadership appointment. Following the successful expansion of our Cost Management division, we are now seeking a strategic lead for Project Management. Whether you are an established Director or an ambitious Senior Associate looking for a clear path to Partnership, this role offers the autonomy and support to make a significant impact.
Strategic Leadership & Office Growth
As an Associate Partner, you will work directly with the Office Partner to lead, develop, and deliver the Project Management service. You will be a key driver of the office’s strategic growth, managing high-profile schemes across Heritage, Healthcare, Education, and Residential sectors.
Service Leadership: Lead the Project Management division, ensuring technical excellence across the entire project lifecycle.
Business Development: Use your local market knowledge to identify opportunities and build lasting client relationships. Candidates should have a solid network in the region.
Technical Stewardship: Manage multiple stakeholders and oversee complex contract administration (JCT, NEC, and FIDIC).
Mentorship: Actively develop and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and professional achievement.
Commercial Control: Manage budgets, cost control, and value engineering to maximize value for both private and public sector clients.
QUALIFICATIONS
MRICS or APM status is required.
Experience: Significant post-qualification experience in a construction consultancy environment, with a proven track record at a senior/leadership level.
Skills: Proficiency in Asta PowerProject or MS Project is advantageous.
Attributes: You are a collaborative, "authentic" leader who is comfortable as the primary interface for high-profile stakeholders.
