Precast Quality Controller

Job Description

Net Temps is excited to announce a rewarding opportunity for a Quality Controller to join our precast concrete client based in Melton Mowbray.

Experience within a Precast environment is essential.

Quality Controller Pay Rate: £14 per hour, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

We are in search of an experienced Quality Controller to contribute to a major infrastructure project at our precast concrete factory. As a Quality Controller, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our production standards by ensuring the quality of our end products meets the required standards. You will collaborate closely with the Production, Finishing, and Despatch departments to conduct meticulous inspections before beams are dispatched to the site. Your role will involve identifying any defects or areas for improvement and effectively communicating these to the relevant teams.

Quality Controller Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Drive a continuous improvement culture by engaging production teams in quality management processes.
  • Perform inspections of products at all production stages in accordance with the Inspection Test Plan (ITP).
  • Identify and address defects, non conformance's, and opportunities for improvement within production processes, assisting in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
  • Participate in internal and external accrediting body audits
