Six chosen for £20m Sandwell roads framework

3 Feb 10 Six civils contractors have been chosen by Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council for a framework contract covering highways and associated works.

Six civils contractors have been chosen by Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council for a framework contract covering highways and associated works.

The lucky six are: Fitzgerland Contractors, Stave-Con, Parade Civil Engineering, Carillion, G McVeigh, and Bardon Construction.

The three year contract, across various sites within Sandwell, Dudley, Walsall and Wolverhampton, has a value of £20m.

A total of 14 firms bid for the framework.
