CLS has submitted a detailed planning application for a 21,000 square metre student accommodation and hotel led development scheme in Vauxhall, south London.
The proposed Spring Mews development, located close to the Albert Embankment and the Vauxhall transport interchange, comprises 402 student rooms and amenity space and a 120 bed mid-market hotel, as well as a community centre and café, office space, and shops.
Subject to receiving planning consent, CLS would aim to start on site in 2012, with completion in 2014. The total development cost of the proposed scheme is in excess of £50m, the developer said.
Last week CLS submitted plans for a 154,000 sq m mixed use development in Vauxhall, for two 50-storey tower blocks.
