Morgan Sindall to expand three Barnet schools

The projects for Barnet Borough Council will see Copthall School in Mill Hill, Compton School in Friern Barnet and Christ’s College Secondary School in Finchley expanded and upgraded.

The Copthall School expansion comprises the construction of a new two-storey teaching block. The expansion of Christ’s College Secondary School will see the construction of a new two-storey modular teaching block to house the school’s sixth form. Compton School is getting a new three-storey teaching block.

The expansion program will enable each school to provide an additional 30 permanent school places in each year group from September 2014.

Morgan Sindall was appointed through the Improvement and Efficiency South East (iESE) framework, one of the key construction frameworks in London and the South East.
