Kobelco will integrate Trimble’s next generation 3D machine control platform, Trimble Earthworks for Excavators, with its Kobelco SK210LC-9 excavators.
Hitachi Construction Machinery will use interfaces from Trimble Connect software to develop an intelligent platform for its customers. This builds on the existing relationship between Trimble and Hitachi where Trimble currently provides factory-fit grade control systems for Hitachi’s ZX200X-5B semi-automatic excavators in Japan.
The separate deals were announced at the Conexpo trade show in Las Vegas this week.
