I'm working with an established and highly regarded construction consultancy in London looking to appoint a talented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team.

The Opportunity

You'll be joining a collaborative and experienced team, working across multiple projects within the property sector, with the opportunity to take ownership of your work and build strong relationships with clients.
Rather than being tied to one project or sector, you'll gain exposure to a varied portfolio, allowing you to develop a well-rounded skill set and broaden your experience.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering full pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying services across a range of property projects.
• Preparing cost plans, estimates and feasibility studies.
• Managing procurement, tendering and contractor appointments.
• Overseeing valuations, variations, cost reporting and final accounts.
• Providing commercial advice and managing project costs throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where appropriate.
• Taking ownership of projects and contributing to the continued growth of the business.

What They Are Looking For

I'm keen to speak with Senior Quantity Surveyors who have a strong consultancy background and well-rounded experience across the property sector.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Experience working within a construction or cost consultancy.
• A good understanding of both pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying.
• Experience across property sectors such as commercial, residential, mixed-use, hospitality, education or similar.
• Strong commercial awareness and the confidence to manage projects independently.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• MRICS qualification or working towards chartership.
• A proactive approach and genuine interest in developing your career.

You don't need to have experience in every property sector. A solid foundation in Quantity Surveying, a willingness to learn and the ambition to progress are equally important.
