Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (40 hours per week)
Job Description
I am currently working with a leading Facilities Management company who are looking to recruit an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join their team on a large healthcare site in Burnley.
Our client is looking for a fully qualified Electrician with experience in commercial building maintenance to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of electrical and mechanical building services.
This is a permanent position offering long-term stability, additional earning potential and opportunities for progression.
Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
Electrical fault finding, repairs and general maintenance
Maintaining lighting, emergency lighting, distribution boards and electrical systems
Working on building services including AHUs, ventilation, BMS, pumps and heating systems
Supporting general mechanical and fabric maintenance where required
Undertaking Electrical Authorised Person (AP) duties following training and sign-off
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site regulations
Requirements for the Role:
Experience in commercial Facilities Management or building services maintenance
NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Recognised electrical apprenticeship
AM2 qualification (where applicable)
Inspection and Testing qualifications desirable
Multi-skilled maintenance experience desirable
Full UK Driving Licence
Ability to pass a DBS check
Salary & Benefits:
Basic salary up to £36,000
Approximately £6,000 additional annual earnings through a 1-in-3 on-call rota (after probation)
Additional £1,500 annual allowance for AP duties following sign-off
Call-out payments and mileage allowance
24 days annual leave + bank holidays
