Job Summary
As a Garden Maintenance Operative, you'll work in a small, collaborative team performing a variety of gardening and landscaping tasks that contribute to creating healthy, well-maintained landscapes. We seek someone motivated, reliable, and ready to grow their skills in a rewarding, hands-on role.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general gardening tasks, including mowing, trimming, pruning, weeding, and planting
Assist with hard landscaping tasks as required
Collaborate with team members to complete maintenance schedules and respond to client needs
Maintain high standards and deliver a quality service
Communicate effectively with team members and clients
Requirements
Prior experience in gardening, landscaping, or grounds maintenance is preferred but not essential.
Strong motivation, enthusiasm, and a "can do" attitude
Ability to work independently and within a team
Physically fit to handle long hours and physical tasks
Full UK manual driving licence (ideally 25+ for insurance purpose)
Working Hours & Pay
Contracted hours: 07:30 - 17:00 (flexibility available)
Starting at National Minimum Wage, with potential for increase based on experience
Overtime and weekend work available (paid at 1.5x hourly rate)
