Other attachments to be used on the new machine include a trencher and a concrete mixing bucket to perform wide range of civil engineering services.
Lincolnshire-based K&S Allbones Civil Engineers has bought a new Bobcat T770H compact tracked loader from Scunthorpe-based AMS Bobcat, the authorised dealer for the region.
The new T770H model replaces a Bobcat T300H tracked loader purchased from AMS Bobcat in 2008. Like the T300H model, the versatility when combined with a wide range of Bobcat attachments covers many of the civil engineering services offered by K&S Allbones.
Managing director Nick Allbones said: “We have always had a policy to invest in the latest technology and equipment and Bobcat compact tracked loaders are one of the best investments we have ever made. Our company prides itself in combining this with good old-fashioned hard work, a fact that is really appreciated by our customers, especially those in the farming community.
“We were the first to have a laser grader attachment in the UK – it ensures that we get the subbase right every time by allowing us to very accurately grade hard core and soil to very tight tolerances. We do a lot of laser poured concrete floors and the Bobcat tracked loader offers a lot more flexibility and is much more manoeuvrable and economical to run than the bulldozers we used to hire in for this application. The Bobcat concrete mixer attachment has also been an excellent addition for the shuttered walls we build. The other attachments including a trencher, an auger, pallet forks, a brush and a 3-in-1 bucket are also in constant use on our projects. I intend to keep adding attachments to the new T770 machine to expand its scope – for example, I’ve been thinking about the Bobcat soil conditioner and power rake attachments for some time, which will allow us to provide an even better finish to the projects we complete.”
