The agreement comes less than a month after Lend Lease's Exemplar Health consortium, which also includes Capella Capital, Siemens and Spotless, was named preferred bidder.
The new Bendigo Hospital will feature 372 in-patient beds, 10 operating theatres, an integrated cancer centre, a mental health unit and a helipad in addition to a mix of small commercial developments. The works include a new hospital in addition to some minor refurbishment of heritage buildings.
