Fairfax has ordered a full range of sizes from the four-metre 516-40 to the 17-metre 535-170 that has proved popular with Fairfax customers since it was first introduced to the fleet two years ago.
The company now has approxinately 60 telehandlers for hire, as well as 350 excavators.
Fairfax development director Mark Love said: “With the reliability, versatility and overall quality of the JCB telehandlers we have run in our hire fleet for a number of years we had no hesitation in placing an order for another 20 machines.
“The cost of ownership, safety and security are crucial to us when we invest in new plant for our hire fleet and our customers are looking for the productivity and ease of use which is guaranteed with the JCB telehandlers.”
