Andy Preston, client relationship manager from Constructionline, said: “In our experience, both private and public sector clients want to give work to local contractors, and in turn, the contractors are eager to win these tenders. However, we understand it is often difficult for contractors and buyers to get opportunities to meet face-to-face, hence the reason for hosting events such as this. Helping establish relationships between suppliers and clients is one of the many added-value benefits we provide for our members – we want to help them find and secure work and also make it easier for buyers to find reliable and local construction companies.”
