Mace moves into dispute consultancy

23 Jul 13 Mace has launched a contracts and dispute consultancy service and recruited two men from Currie & Brown to head it up.

Chartered civil engineering surveyor Andrew Gregory joined Mace’s Dubai office in April 2013 as head of contracts & dispute consultancy and has now been joined by former colleague Paul Craig, who has the role of contracts and disputes manager. Both men previously worked for Currie & Brown.

Mace’s contracts and dispute consultancy will offer input on contract formulation, contractor procurement, contract document drafting, contract risk analysis, claims preparation, evaluation, defence and rebuttal.

The service comes under the ambit of Mace Cost Consultancy Ltd, whose managing director Chris Goldthorpe said: “We are always striving to provide additional and alternative service offerings and with the appointments of both Andrew and Paul, we now have the capability to advise our clients with in contracts and disputes. Incorporating Andrew and Paul’s expertise into the team will help take the business into a new area of growth which is an exciting prospect for the business and the wider company.”
