The investment grows the O’Keefe fleet to more than 70 excavators.
The new arrivals include several Caterpillar mini excavators and a Cat D6T tracked dozer. The Cat excavators include an eight-tonne demolition-spec 308E2 mini excavator with swing boom, two 5-tonne 305E2s, two 3.5-tonne 303E CRs and a 1.7-tonne 301.7D.
O’Keefe has also bought some JCB machinery, including an eight-tonne 85Z-1 mini-excavator, a 13-tonne JS130+ tracked excavator specified to demolition standards, and a JS220 LC 22-tonne long-reach excavator.
Deputy managing director Lee Horsley said: “This latest investment in technology within our plant fleet is to further demonstrate our commitment to our core values and improve our product, both in terms of environmental impact and operationally.”
